Christophe DEFRANOUX received an MSc degree in optics and materials sciences in 1991. He joined SOPRA in 1992 and was Application Department Manager during 10 years; he has always been very active to support the Sales and customer satisfaction oriented. His expertise in customer applications development and service measurements using spectroscopic ellipsometry has contributed to improve the products of SOPRA and to develop the Ellipsometric Porosimeter (EP Series) and Ellipsometric Porosimeter Atmospheric (EPA). He has been promoted as Europe Sales Manager since the 5th of May 2008.
Christine WALSH received an MSc in Lasers and Materials in 2006. As a graduate student, she focused on a BSc in Applied Physics with a major in Fibre Optics and Integrated Optical Systems. She joined the SOPRA Company applications team in 2006, after completing a six months internship dedicated to the development and optimisation of the EPA system. As from the 5th of May 2008, she has been promoted to Sales Engineer to support Christophe DEFRANOUX in his new position.
Jean-Philippe PIEL, PhD, received his PhD degree at CNET Bagneux laboratories in 1987. He joined SOPRA in 1987 as a researcher. He has been in charge of several advanced development projects for semiconductor industry and thin film metrology. He published 40 scientific papers and granted several patents. Since the 5th of May 2008, he is managing the application team.
Benoît MARCON has been graduated from Institut d’Optique Graduate School (Ecole Supérieure d’Optique) in 2005. He worked 2 years in industrial sector, as system engineer. He joined SOPRA in 2007, had three months training on our products. He is now based in Taiwan as Application and Service Engineer, to strengthen the sales team and application support.
